PAYS.DOC - II International Seminar of 'PAYS.DOC' on the theme “The Quality of the Landscape” - Florence, 11/12 May 2006

Within the PAYS.DOC Community Project, the Region of Tuscany organised two days of study on the landscape of Florence, at the Educatorio del Fuligno, in Via Faenza, 48.
On Thursday 11^th May 2006, the first day of work, an International Seminar was held with the aim of stimulating a reflection on the theme of the quality of the landscape and the attribution of values. The themes under discussion, entrusted to speakers of various disciplines, tackled the relationship of the landscape with history, the environment, infrastructures and agriculture.
In the same location, on 12^th May, thematic Focus sessions on the quality of the landscape were held, by means of a discussion with brainstorming modalities.
Four work groups corresponding to the themes of the interventions dealt with in the previous day's seminar were organised.
